30 Thursday

|
Today is the fourth annual National Dump the Pump Day. Sponsored by the American Public Transportation Association, its purpose is to encourage people to leave their cars at home and discover the benefits of public transportation. Not only is public transportation better for the environment by conserving gas and reducing emissions, but it can save you money too!

Today, in honor of National Dump the Pump Day, our 30 Thursday will be focused on gas conservation. What is a way that you manage to conserve gas and use your car less? Share it in a comment on this post!

This is how 30 Thursday works. The first 30 readers that respond with a legitimate comment on the day's topic are eligible for an additional entry in all of my current giveaways! After you leave your 30 Thursday comment, simply go to the giveaways (all current giveaways are listed beneath the giveaway icon on the right sidebar) and leave another comment. All you have to put in your giveaway comment is "30" and your email address. After I receive 30 comments on the 30 Thursday post I will close the post for comments.

Thank you to all those who participated last week! I enjoyed reading your comments on water conservation. Some had me laughing and all had me thinking about ways I can conserve more at my house. I have even had the chance to put many of your tips to use this week!

I look forward to hearing your tips for conserving gas and driving less. Have a fabulous Thursday!
